I use Python and R for a number of tasks. Here I am uploading a few things that may be of use to others.
AIMS_GENERATOR: a program developed with Joshua Galanter (UCSF) for identifying ancestry informative markers from genomic data. First used in our PLoS Genetics article.
https://code.google.com/p/aims-project/
Updated version available for >3-way admixed populations using composite statistics can be found in our recent PLoS ONE article.
MIXOMATIC: software suite for performing admixture mapping and joint genotype/admixture association from genomic data. Includes parsing scripts and pipelines for local ancestry estimation from plink-formatted data.
Coming Soon. Please contact me if you are interested in this.
Others coming soon as well. Hopefully very soon!
